Replay practice and account information

ReplayPip does not require an account or connect to your broker. The current replay position, simulated trades, drawings, notes, custom balance and chart settings are saved in this browser’s local storage so they can survive refresh. They are not uploaded to an account portfolio or Analytics. The saved session is shared across languages on this website, but not across devices or browsers. Avoid entering sensitive information in drawing notes on shared devices.

Opening the site and requesting candles sends normal web requests to our server. Hosting and security systems can process IP addresses, request times, requested URLs and browser information to deliver the site, diagnose faults and limit abuse.

Essential cookies and browser storage

The site uses session and security cookies for functions such as protecting feedback submissions against forged requests. These are separate from optional Analytics cookies.

Your Analytics choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. Clearing browser storage removes that choice. Session-cookie lifetime and technical-log retention depend on the server settings; browser session expiry does not delete server or email backups.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics stays off until you accept it in the Analytics banner. When enabled, it helps us understand visits and use of features, including replay controls, indicators and support-link clicks. Google can process browser and device information, page visits and event data through this service.

Feedback message text, reply email addresses, drawing notes and your entered starting balance are not included in the custom Analytics events. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your Analytics choice. Rejecting Analytics leaves replay available.

Feedback messages and replies

When you send feedback, the message and optional reply address are passed through our email service to the ReplayPip team. You do not need to provide an email address unless you want a reply. Avoid sending passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.

The application does not create a feedback chat history in its database. Messages can remain in the team mailbox and its backups while they are handled. If delivery fails, the draft stays in the open page, but reloading clears it. Contact [email protected] about feedback correspondence or a deletion request.

Spam protection

When Google reCAPTCHA is enabled for feedback, its script loads when you press Send. Google processes information about the browser and interaction to assess whether the submission may be automated. Our server sends the verification token to Google and checks the result before attempting delivery.

This security check is separate from optional Google Analytics. The form identifies Google reCAPTCHA and links to the policies that apply.

Advertising and your choices

ReplayPip has prepared ad placements below simulated trades, within backtesting guides and blog articles, and below the blog listing. Placements remain inactive while AdSense review or advertising consent setup is pending. The ads.txt verification file alone does not display ads or request advertising cookies.

If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its advertising partners can use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure and personalise advertising, depending on your choices and location. A Google consent message will identify relevant purposes and partners where required. Use its privacy and cookie settings control to review or withdraw advertising choices; the existing Cookie settings button controls Analytics only.

Advertising can involve processing by providers outside your country. Google describes its processing and safeguards in its own policies. You can also manage personalised advertising preferences through Google.

Optional support payments

Configured PayPal and Stripe links open the provider’s checkout. Their services process payment and transaction information under their own policies. Our simulated trading controls do not collect card details. A payment provider may make transaction details available to the recipient for payment administration.

Supporting the project is optional and does not unlock extra replay tools.

Retention and privacy requests

The current session remains in local storage until replaced, cleared with Start new session or removed by clearing browser data. Browser storage can be unavailable or erased, so it is not a backup. Feedback mail, security records and provider-held information have separate retention arrangements.

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent. Send requests to [email protected]. You may also contact your local data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not change processing that already occurred.

We may update this notice when the website or its services change. The date above identifies the latest update.

Language selection

The interface, guides and blog support English, Portuguese (Portugal), Spanish and French. Switching language reloads the equivalent page and restores the current locally saved replay session when the same candle data is available. Chart times remain UTC; the data source, calculations and Analytics choice do not change.

The chart tour stores a local preference named replaypip.chart-tour.v1 to remember that it has been shown. Existing browsers with a saved replay are not automatically interrupted; Show chart tour remains available. The preference is not sent to a server. Private browsing or unavailable storage may prevent it being remembered.

Economic calendar preferences

When you apply economic-calendar filters, ReplayPip stores them in an encrypted preference cookie named replaypip_calendar_filters. It remembers your dates, currency, impact and cancelled-event setting across language pages. Reset deletes it; clearing browser cookies also removes it. A saved Today view follows the current UTC date. This preference is separate from optional Analytics and is not sent to the calendar provider.
