LEARN & PRACTISE

Free forex replay for strategy practice

Open ReplayPip, pick a historical date and reveal the chart one candle at a time. You can draw on the chart, add indicators and place simulated Buy or Sell orders. The tools are free, no account is required and optional support does not unlock extra features.

What you can practise

  • Manual candle-by-candle replay or automatic playback at adjustable speeds.
  • EUR/USD, GBP/USD and USD/JPY, subject to imported data availability.
  • 1-minute, 5-minute, 15-minute, hourly and daily charts when complete data supports them.
  • Simulated market and pending orders, with entry, stop-loss and take-profit controls.

Chart tools and indicators

Use trend lines, rays, horizontal levels, vertical time markers, rectangles, arrows, Fibonacci retracements and measurement tools. Long and Short Position drawings help plan entry, stop and target levels before converting the plan into a simulated order.

Available indicators are SMA 20 and 50, EMA 20 and 50, and Bollinger Bands with a 20-period mean and two standard deviations. These calculations use revealed history; indicators do not predict the next candle.

Stored history, rather than live trading

The chart reads imported data from the website database. Opening a chart does not download new candles from a provider. The available dates depend on what has been imported, so this is a historical practice tool rather than a real-time quote feed.

Forex prices can differ across providers. Check the source and price basis shown in the workspace and use the methodology page to understand time conversion and gaps.

What the current version does not include

There are no broker connections, real orders, saved accounts or persistent trade reports. Trades and drawings are temporary. The simulator starts with a practice USD balance and omits spreads, fees, slippage, margin and leverage.

All visitors get the same replay tools. Optional support helps fund the project and does not unlock additional chart features.

Put it into practice
