# ReplayPip > ReplayPip is a free browser-based historical chart replay and simulated trading platform for forex, precious metals and selected USDT crypto pairs. The replay workspace reads imported historical candles from the website database, not a live quote feed. Available instruments, dates and timeframes depend on stored data. Supported timeframes are 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours and 1 day when complete source candles are available. Chart times are UTC. Features include candle-by-candle replay, simulated market and pending orders, draggable stop-loss and take-profit levels, a custom starting balance and a position-size risk calculator. Chart analysis includes drawing tools, notes, Fibonacci retracements and extensions, parallel channels, magnet snapping, drawing Undo/Redo and indicators. Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York session overlays follow local timezone rules on intraday charts. No account is required. The current replay session, trades, drawings, balance and chart settings save in browser local storage and restore paused after refresh when the same candle data is available. This is not an online account or permanent backup; clearing browser data removes the save. Explicit session reset or changing instrument/date can clear practice work. ReplayPip does not connect to a broker or execute real orders. The simulator omits spreads, commissions, slippage, financing, leverage and margin checks. Risk estimates do not guarantee a maximum loss, and historical practice does not establish future profitability. Optional support does not unlock additional features. The interface, public guides and all current blog articles are available in English, Portuguese (Portugal), Spanish and French. English is the default. The language switcher links to equivalent pages; switching language reloads the page and restores the locally saved session when the same candle data is available. Chart timestamps remain UTC in every language. Language choices do not change the market-data source, trading calculations or Analytics consent. ## Replay and guides - [Currency converter](https://replaypip.com/currency-converter): Indicative fiat conversions using validated Frankfurter daily blended rates stored on ReplayPip. Server checks every six hours; visitors do not trigger upstream requests. Two editable rows, currency selectors and swap update immediately without page refresh or a Convert button, using an embedded public snapshot. Daily history chart with 1M/3M/1Y views. Historical cross-rates use only matching dates, with no invented observations; one year is loaded initially and recent history refreshes daily. Chart rates are per one source unit, independent of the entered amount. Latest conversion observations may have different dates, which are disclosed, and may differ from the historical series. Not a live trading quote, and independent of replay prices and simulated balances. Available in English, Portuguese (Portugal), Spanish and French. - [Replay workspace](https://replaypip.com/): Historical charts and simulated strategy practice; check the displayed source and available dates. - [How currency conversion works](https://replaypip.com/blog/how-currency-conversion-works): Explains the automatic converter, USD-base cross-rate formula, a clearly labelled arithmetic example, dated Frankfurter observations, matching-date history, rounding and bank/broker differences. Includes an original local converter screenshot from 28 October 2026. Available in all four site languages. - [Managing trading emotions](https://replaypip.com/blog/manage-trading-emotions): Educational routine for recognising FOMO, revenge trading and overconfidence; written decision cards, pauses, an unfamiliar replay exercise and a behaviour journal. Separates rule adherence from strategy profitability, includes an invented expectancy calculation and links to MoneySense and Investor.gov. No claim of guaranteed returns or psychological treatment. Available in all four site languages. - [ReplayPip blog](https://replaypip.com/blog): Practical articles with original ReplayPip screenshots, illustrative chart diagrams and a journal layout; available in the same four languages as the site. - [Recorded EUR/USD replay case study](https://replaypip.com/blog/eurusd-replay-exercise): Recorded 17 September 2025 HistData bid replay with a written protocol, original before/after screenshots, entry 1.18412, manual exit 1.18472 and +6 USD simulated result before costs. One workflow example, not strategy validation. Available in all four site languages. - [London session backtesting](https://replaypip.com/blog/london-session-backtesting): Manual EUR/USD replay, London reference hours, historical daylight saving offsets and a hypothetical order calculation. Available in all four site languages. - [New York session backtesting](https://replaypip.com/blog/new-york-session-backtesting): New York reference hours versus UTC, a hypothetical trade plan and a journal review. The current Economic Calendar does not follow the replay date. Available in all four site languages. - [Backtesting journal template](https://replaypip.com/blog/backtesting-journal-template): Suggested spreadsheet fields for rules, observations and simulated results. - [Understanding simulated trade fills](https://replaypip.com/blog/understanding-simulated-trade-fills): OHLC ambiguity, stop-first processing, gap fills and costs excluded by the simulator. - [Before you trust a trading strategy, test it](https://replaypip.com/blog/test-a-trading-strategy-before-trusting-it): Turn a strategy explanation into rules, record decisions before revealing outcomes and recognise simulation limits. - [Backtesting mistakes](https://replaypip.com/blog/backtesting-mistakes): Selective examples, unavailable information, rule changes, repeated dates and omitted costs that can distort a manual test. - [Consistent trading practice](https://replaypip.com/blog/consistent-trading-practice): Separate outcomes from rule execution, keep revision ideas and evaluate changes on another period. All three practice articles are available in the four site languages; none demonstrates a profitable strategy. - [How to backtest a forex trading strategy for free](https://replaypip.com/how-to-backtest-forex): A seven-step manual workflow: define rules and a stopping point, select a sample, reveal decisions, record context, manage simulated orders, save a journal and evaluate another period. Includes Portuguese, Spanish and French translations. - [Free forex replay features](https://replaypip.com/free-forex-replay): Current tools, indicators, sessions, timeframes and limitations. - [Data and methodology](https://replaypip.com/data-and-methodology): Imported coverage, validation and audited exclusions, provider delays, UTC aggregation and candle-opening labels, gaps, simulated order fills and profit formulas. - [Frequently asked questions](https://replaypip.com/faq): Answers about pricing, saved work, custom balances, drawing controls and feedback. - [About ReplayPip](https://replaypip.com/about): Founder and editorial lead Syed Awais, his software-development background, documented replay verification, corrections and optional support. - [Broker checklist](https://replaypip.com/brokers): Regional eligibility, regulation, fees, withdrawals and trading-risk checklist. No broker referrals are currently listed. Available in all four site languages. ## Languages - [Portuguese (Portugal) replay](https://replaypip.com/pt): Portuguese interface; translated guides use the same page slugs under /pt. - [Spanish replay](https://replaypip.com/es): Spanish interface and guides under /es. - [French replay](https://replaypip.com/fr): French interface and guides under /fr. - [Portuguese (Portugal) blog](https://replaypip.com/pt/blog): Portuguese versions of all current articles, including captions and descriptions. - [Spanish blog](https://replaypip.com/es/blog): Spanish versions of all current articles. - [French blog](https://replaypip.com/fr/blog): French versions of all current articles. Guide and article slugs stay the same under each language prefix. For example, the English /blog/eurusd-replay-exercise article has a Portuguese version at /pt/blog/eurusd-replay-exercise. Translations are maintained in the website source; this is not an on-demand translation API. New content needs corresponding translations. - [Economic calendar](https://replaypip.com/economic-calendar): Opens on today’s economic releases using UTC date filters. Event times display in the visitor’s device timezone, with the local date when it differs. The next displayed scheduled release is highlighted with a countdown; past scheduled times have a subtle tint and do not confirm result publication. Date, currency and impact filters are remembered in an encrypted browser preference cookie until Reset or cookie removal; a saved Today view follows the current UTC date. Only days with stored events can be selected. Current schedules and available results from Finance Calendar are stored locally, with hourly server checks scheduled. Visitors reload to see newly imported data. Finance Calendar does not currently collect consensus forecasts, so the Forecast column is normally empty. Missing or delayed results and incomplete coverage are labelled. Separate from historical replay. Interface in English, Portuguese (Portugal), Spanish and French; event names retain the provider language. ## Site index - [Public sitemap](https://replaypip.com/sitemap.xml): Canonical pages for the replay workspace, guides, blog index and published articles in all four languages. This list grows as published content is added. ## Optional - [Privacy and cookie information](https://replaypip.com/privacy): Feedback handling, browser storage, optional analytics, spam protection and advertising choices.
